Situated just 30 minutes south of Wollongong, our wholesale production nursery seeks a driven individual to take on the role of Bush Revegetator – Team Leader Maintenance at SBR.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in executing large-scale revegetation projects, from initial site preparation to planting and irrigation.
• Lead and coordinate a small team with confidence.
• Perform routine maintenance and weed management across various project sites in South-Western Sydney and the Illawarra.
• Essential understanding of revegetative practices distinct difference from traditional revegetation methods.

Essential Criteria:

• While experience in revegetation is preferred, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic are key.
• Maintain excellent health and fitness levels for outdoor work- pre-employment physical maybe asked of candidate.
• Possess a team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills.
• Demonstrate drive and motivation to excel as a self-starter and leader.
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Preferably possess a Chem Cert.
• Showcase a genuine interest in environmental conservation and land care.

TRAINEE – Cert III Conservation & Ecosystem Management

• Assist the in the implementation of large-scale revegetation projects including site preparation, planting works, erosion control and irrigation of sites.
• Assist in weed management and routine maintenance of all project sites. Sites are located throughout South-Western Sydney and the Illawarra with well-established major clients.
• Attend TAFE 1 day per week (YALLAH campus) to undertake Certificate 3 in conservation & Ecosystem Management

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Excellent health and fitness
• Strong team player with sound communication skills
• Highly motivated
• Own transport and drivers license

Demonstrated interest in land care, conservation and the environment
