Wholesale plant supply and contract growing
We're provenance perfectionists!
What we do
We produce one of the widest ranges of native plants on the market, but what really sets us apart is our provenance growing facility.
Local Provenance is the term used to describe native plant populations that naturally occur in a given area. Preserving local provenance populations, on the other hand, is an important way of protecting biodiversity and combating the threat to biodiversity posed by climate change.
Our state-of-the-art seedbank contains upwards of 800 Sydney region indigenous species, each batch documented from its precise collection point and time. This and other relevant data follows each plant in each batch all the way through the production cycle, right to handover, or final planting.

Benefits of contract growing
Planting project documentation is usually completed many months before planting-out is scheduled, but often awarding the plant supply contract is left to the last minute. This frequently results in substitute plants being supplied because the specified plants are unavailable.
Plant supply contracts usually contain very specific requirements for species, quantities, container size, provenance and supply timing.
Without appropriate planning ahead, these requirements are not met and species substitution is unavoidable. Substitution usually adds to the project costs as these last-minute orders have to be outsourced.
Contract growing avoids these extra costs, assures the correct species will be available in specified quantities and most importantly, supplied on time and in suitably hardened condition for immediate planting.
The end result is not only smoother, less stressful project implementation for the contractor, but greater project success because the plants have been supplied as per the project specifications.
